AUGUST
Location: In Foster
Sex: Male
Colour: Brown Tabby
Birthday: 10-11 Weeks
Auggie was left outside of our gates at the shelter over night, only to be found by volunteers the next morning. Thank goodness it was warm out & he was no worse for wear. He was taken into foster & adopted into Kiwi’s fruit & nut litter, becoming part of their group instantly. He does not like being left where he can’t see his humans, and will meow in search of them, despite being in the company of other animals. Auggie loves to play with his foster siblings & do all the kitten things, but when it comes time to sleep, he looks for the dogs, curling up in their fur in whatever spot feels right. Auggie still searches for the comfort he gets of suckling and is lucky to be in a foster home that gives him lots of options to do so. Momma Kiwi no longer lets her own babies suckle but she makes an exception for Auggie. For play he goes all out with his foster siblings & loves to chase around a ball. His favorite though is seeing where & what he can balance on next. (Good thing cats land on their feet!) He warms up quickly & always curious who has come to visit. He is in a foster home with many other animals including other cats & big dogs with no issues with any of them. He would do best in a home where someone is there most of the day & has a animal friend he can play with.
