BOOTSY
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Female
Color: Diluted Calico
Birthday: 2 Years
Bootsy is a quiet, shy girl who loves to watch the world from the safety of her favorite hiding spot—burrowed deep in the blankets. It’s a shame she isn’t showing off her beautiful diluted calico fur that she wears so gracefully. When she thinks no one is watching, she tiptoes around the shelter, exploring everyone’s beds and satisfying her curiosity. Fairly new to the shelter, she is still trying to find her place, but beneath her cautious exterior is a sweet side just waiting for the right moment to shine through, and each day she can be seen venturing out a little more. While she hasn’t yet been spotted playing with toys, Bootsy most definitely won’t pass up a treat—especially when it’s delivered straight to her hiding spot, which she considers the ultimate best day. Although she has seen dogs, she prefers to stay up high and away from any interaction, and while she tolerates other cats, she hasn’t formed close friendships yet. Bootsy would do best in a single-cat household or in a home with just one calm feline companion. We’re sure her personality will truly shine once she’s found her forever home. If you are interested in Bootsy, please fill out a Cat Adoption Application Form.
