  • Boots is a quiet, SENIOR long-haired female cat. She loves to find funny spots to curl up and sleep, such as the laundry basket or an open drawer or cupboard. Boots is content to be an indoor cat. Boots came from a quiet home, but is adjusting well to her busy foster family's home, where she is getting along well with the 2 other resident cats and is excellent with the kids.

Cats
Kittens to 6 months old $85.00
7 months and older $75.00
Surrender fee charges for all surrenders even if drop-offs (note: animals being surrendered must first be accepted by PHSI adoption coordinator)

Trial period for pre adoption is restricted for 1 to 2 weeks, with a post-dated cheque or cash paid at time of trial start. An Adoption Application must be filled out at the start of the trial

Heart-worm testing or preventative medication is no longer being issued to PHSI pets.

Each PHSI animal that arrives at a vet clinic must be examined, dewormed and vaccinated. If there are any health issues upon presentation, an adoption coordinator must first be notified before any tests, vaccinations or deworming is done.

Dogs: standard vaccines including rabies, 2 boosters booked for puppy, 1 for adult

Cats: Feline Leukemia test, standard vaccines including rabies and distemper.
