It's easy to see from her picture that Gabby is all smiles; A stunning girl who effortlessly grabbing everyone's attention. She’s been capturing hearts at the shelter with her kind and cheerful personality since her arrival. Once wild and starving, she has made remarkable progress in her first rescue. She still needs to gain some more weight. However, she's been making good progress in that area. Remarkably, Gabby shows no signs of food aggression but does eat quite quickly. She loves connecting with people; sit with her and she'll put her head on your lap. If you're lucky, she'll roll over in complete trust, asking for a belly rub. Not particularly fond of many toys, she will on occasion chase a ball; Her ears flapping wildly in the wind, but don't expect the ball to ever be returned. She finds much more joy in the comfort and companionship of a human instead. Gabby is just starting to learn how to give kisses, but instead, she adorably boops your cheek with her nose. Has shown to do well with younger children to older adults, showing some aversion to men. She does great on a leash but is skittish around cars. To be fair, it's still a new experience for her. Both kennel and house trained. Does well around other dogs & cats. Gabby is a truly lovely soul patiently waiting to find her forever home.
