GINGHAM
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Female
Breed: Labrador Shephard X
Colour: Tan
Age: 4 Months
Sister: Damask
Though her name may suggest a exuberant, spiced energy pup, she's truly a laid back and affectionate companion at heart, ready to grow with you! Gingham is predicted to be a Labrador & Shephard mix. With her petite stature and her one blue eye, there is definitely more breeds mixed in. For simplicity, lets call her a Pure-Breed good girl! We do not believe that Gingham is aware that she is a puppy, as she is extremely gentle in her play and interactions with humans. She is super friendly & will greet everyone with happiness, tail wagging & wanting pets. You can probably tell from her pictures she is a very happy girl! Much like her sister, her sweetness is undeniable and her friendly nature is truly infectious, making her a delightful companion to have around. She has brought nothing but joy since entering the shelter. She has a quiet affection that shines through in the sweetest of ways. She gives kisses... but not to many. She cuddles... but not for too long. Still in the early developmental stages of life, Gingham likes to chew to explore her world. Fortunately she also has an affinity for toys that keeps her well-entertained and prevents any damages. She is kennel trained & is working on her house training. Still trying to understand what a leash is, but walks right beside you nonetheless. She adores a large, comfy spot to curl up in & a yard to run around in. Gingham exercises caution around cats; however, she is excited about other dogs. Her warm heart is a beacon of love, ready to shower affection on her family forever. Estimated to grow only to a medium-sized dog, perfect size for most families. If you are interested in Gingham, please fill out a Dog Adoption Application.
