HARLOW
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Male
Breed: Lab / Rotti X
Color: Black with Brown
Age: 5-6 Months
This is Harlow!
He has not had the easiest start to life but we are here to change that. Harlow came to us underweight & with funny paws which depicts how nutrient deficient whatever he was eating actually was. He knows he is now safe & will never be starved again. Harlow is appreciative for everything!
It is hard to believe this boy is only 5-6 months old, as he presents more mature for his age. Manners come natural for him as he has not needed corrections for his behavior since arriving. A star student, Harlow has not only learnt his name but also his basic commands within the first 24 hours of arriving, with nothing but positive verbal reinforcement as a reward. He is eager to please & eager to learn; maybe we'll have him shaking a paw to make it official with his new owner. He keeps a calm happy attitude inside or out. When outside & thinks no one is watching he has these little hippity skips & short zooms showing the true nature of his happiness & contentment. You would think it's time to mention some negatives but there truly arn't any. Harlow walks wonderful on a leash & enjoys a car ride. Despite being starved, he eats slowly & shows no food aggression. He is still unsure of the other dogs at the shelter & just ignores the cats. If you are interested in this total incredible pupper, please fill out a dog adoption application form.
