Heidi is the kind of dog whose true character only emerges once you have earned her trust. Without the establishment of trust, Heidi's  behavior can be quite off-putting & thus she has been continuously overlooked while at the shelter. Heidi requires a dedicated owner who is willing to invest the necessary time and care in her; to allow her to show her true self. Volunteers who have devoted their time to her; she shows her soft-hearted and enduring disposition. She embodies all the love one could desire, wrapped in sweet curiosity. Loyal and attentive Heidi has a lot of potential to be a consistent companion. She excels in leash walking and takes great pleasure in her daily walks. She is well on her way learning her commands; both kennel & house trained. This girl loves to be outside and can play with her sister, Franki for hours! A session of fetch is highly enjoyable. She is highly selective when it comes to choosing her friends giving the impression Heidi may thrive as an only dog household, with undivided attention or with a proper introduction to the other animals in the home. This endearing, gentle, misunderstood soul is eager to find her forever home and share her love with a fortunate new family.
