"UPCOMING MEETING NOTICE" Anyone wishing to volunteer to sit on the Walk/Run Around the Moon Committee. Meeting is scheduled for May 29th at 7:00PM at Smitty's Lounge. THE 7TH ANNUAL WALK/RUN AROUND MOON LAKE The 7th annual Walk Run around Moon Lake will be held on September 15, 2012. Sponsors of this event: "Big Dog" Sponsor $2,500.00 is Dauphin Vet Clinic. Other contributors to date are Dr. Michael Penrose Medical Corporation. Breakfast donated by Dauphin Consumers Co-op Lunch provided by Old Fashion Catering 10 km walk/run, 20 km run, 30 km run. Proceeds support the Parkland Humane Society. Held at Moon Lake in the beautiful Riding Mountain Park. Start/Finish at cook house. Course: 10 km. loop on Moon Lake hiking trail. Lots of fun Prizes. There will be a prize for Best Team Name. Event includes a light breakfast and a catered lunch. Fees: $45 per runner, $35.00 16 and under, $125.00 four person team, $250.00 eight person team. Donations Needed! Due to our every increasing number of pets being taken into our adoption program the Parkland Humane Society is accepting donations . All donations are greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at the Dauphin Vet Clinic between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday to Friday. Starting July 1, there will be a box located outside of Mark's Work Warehouse for donations at an convenient and easy location!!
