HOWARD
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Male
Color: Orange Tabby
Birthday: 2-3 Years Old
Meet the newest member of the crew: Howard. With his striking orange fur and a chorus of meows, he's quite the standout. He flourishes with human interaction, preferring your company over that of his feline companions. He is still apprehensive about the larger group of cats, yet he seems more at ease within a smaller gathering. His adventurous spirit is undeterred by the confines of the shelter, politely "requesting" that each door be opened for him. His genuine nature is revealed when he's by himself in the office; A delightful, goofy boy seeming to take an interest in your activities and seeks involvement; it appears he's primarily trying to draw your attention to himself... and it works! With his adorable purrs & nudges how could you not? He adores his toys and has quickly mastered even the more complex ones & of course the treat that follows. He has had minimal contact with dogs, observing them solely through the catio, to which he showed no aversion. He would do well on his own or with another animal in the home. He has only been tested with older children so far and has performed remarkably well. Howard's presence is an absolute delight, consistently bringing smiles to those around him. If you're interested in Howard, please complete a Cat Adoption Application.
