What a shelter favorite we have here! She is made of sugar & her heart is made of gold. Negative things are hard to come by when describing her. Marzei was surrendered to us only 3 days prior to giving birth to 7 puppies. She had no problem settling into the shelter life & gave us a lot of trust with her babies. She is a people adoring dog; always giving a warm cheerful welcome; a permanent smile & super tail wags. Once she knows who you are she gets her whole body wiggling in excitement. She loves to be in the office greeting people as they walk in or getting some one on one attention from the volunteers. Her soft, affectionate personality allows her to do so. A game of fetch is absolutely the best thing! She would always bring a ball back inside to show her babies when she was done playing. Needless to say her favorite toy is a ball, other toys are just not as fun.Going for a walk, Marzei keeps a loose leash & doesn't pull. The length of the walk varies day to day but is always ready to go. On a recent trip to the vet, we discovered she has a love for car rides. Windows down with her ears flapping in the wind. We wonder what she would be thinking about? If it happens that she is in the parking lot, she'll stand by a car hoping to hitch another ride. (Yes we take her for fun runs) She adores when she can be at the same height as you. It's easier to give kisses or settle into your lap. She's pretty good to at posing as an office assistant as she sits on a chair behind the desk.
She has shown to get along with most female dogs; male dogs are questionable. With cats, she likes to pretend they don't exist & will look the other way.
