RITZ
-GREASE LITTER-
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Male
Color: Brown Tabby
Birthday: 8 Months
Siblings: Marty & Lewinsky
Ritz has been a member of our shelter family from the time he was a kitten, requiring the care that only a mother provides, alongside his siblings. He bears a striking resemblance to his brother, Marty, not only in looks but also in personality. Upon first meeting, Ritz may appear reserved, shy, and elusive. Preferring to observe everyone and everything before making his move towards human comforts. He has grown bolder & once this boy gets to know you, you'll be greeted by a happy, trusting cat. He is quite playful, happily engaging with toys, particularly enjoying interactive play. Always ready to provide comfort with a soft purr or a gentle nudge. It wont be long before you have a cuddle enthusiast who cherishes the warmth of a loving lap. While sudden movements can still startle him, with time and trust, Ritz is sure to overcome his timidity and become a loyal companion. With a slow and gentle approach, he will remain by your side for hours. He would do best in a home with older children or with adults. Ritz is curious about other cats when brought back into the shelter environment, yet remains distrustful of the dogs. If you're interested in adopting Marty, please complete a Cat Adoption Application.
On September 27th, 2025 Parkland Humane Society Inc. will be putting on the 3rd Annual Paws for a Cause, to be held in Vermillion Park here in Dauphin. This will include a 2K or 5K Run/Walk, barbeque, live music, kids zone, silent & rainbow actions. We would like to invite all to partake in this worthy cause.
