Good manners are second nature to him, as he has required little to no behavioral corrections since his arrival. He quickly learnt his new name and adapted to his environment; always eager to please. Possessing a generally laid-back and easy going demeanor. He enjoys resting with his head on your lap, putting all his weight against you as give him scratches, & rolling over to receive belly rubs when he's ready to give you all the trust. Sherman is the type of dog who can be sitting doing absolutely nothing and will make you think he is absolutely the best dog in the entire world! He gets whole body wiggles when he sees you coming & is not jumpy. You would think its time to mention some negatives but there truly aren't any. He is intrigued by cats, wishing they were his companions as well. Interacts wonderfully with children & has yet to be put with any other dogs; we however can't see having an issue. This guy is well-trained in kennel habits, house manners, and leash walking, displaying other qualities like staying close by your side no matter the activity, rides beautifully in a car & his recall is on point. He also exhibits no aggression towards food or toys; there is not a mean bone in this dogs' body. His barking is minimal and far from intimidating. Sherman also enjoys outdoor time, energetically sprinting around the yard or simply relaxing in the sun. He loves a game of fetch, except never actually bringing the ball back.
