This charming resident of our shelter is Windy! His brother Rain and he are very much alike. Having the appearance of a Labrador without the typical Labrador size - Windy would be the ideal size for a family dog! His mom Aurora is an unidentified breed, falling on the smaller side of medium-sized. She has the face of a Labrador and a body resembling that of a Corgi. Aurora has an incredibly gentle and sweet disposition and she defiantly passed it onto her pups! Windy joyfully greets everyone, his tail wagging with excitement as he eagerly seeks pets. His warmth is contagious, and his affection knows no bounds. Having Windy around is sure to fill your life with happiness. Windy is completely kennel trained and making great progress with house training—he's almost there! He walks comfortably on a leash and loves going for walks. He's indifferent to cats, though he seems more interested in eating their food! He gets along exceptionally well with other dogs. Food-motivated, he is beginning to pick up his commands. Although he’s initially excited to see you, there are plenty of cuddles to enjoy once he calms down. His favorite spot is right in your lap!
