CRICKET
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Female
Color: Grey & White
Birthday: 3-4 Years
Cricket is a quiet, gentle girl who likes to take her time getting to know new people. She isn’t unfriendly—she simply believes trust should be earned through a lengthy and unnecessarily complicated application process. Once approved, however, you’ll discover a sweet, affectionate little lady with a gentle purr and a whole lot of love hiding underneath that suspicious exterior. Cricket’s hobbies are refreshingly low maintenance; She enjoys cat trees, soft blankets, sunbeams and absolutely nothing requiring cardio. Most days you’ll find her curled up in a cat tree, quietly observing the chaos around her while contributing absolutely nothing to it. Cricket is wonderfully independent and perfectly capable of entertaining herself, which makes her an excellent companion for someone with a busy lifestyle. Go to work. Run errands. Have plans? Cricket will be fine. She had no intention of helping with any of those things anyway. As for the other cats in her room? Cricket has acknowledged their existence. That is currently the extent of the relationship. Cricket isn’t going to throw herself at the first person who walks through the door. She’s looking for someone patient enough to let her settle in, observe the situation and eventually decide that you are, in fact, acceptable. Basically, Cricket is looking for a home where everyone can peacefully coexist & respect each other’s personal space. If you are interested in Cricket, please fill out a Cat Adoption Application.
