MUFFIN

Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Female
Color: White with Black
Birthday: 6-7 Years

Muffin is approximately 6-7 years, which means she has officially reached the stage of life where she knows what she likes, knows where she likes to sleep and sees absolutely no reason to create unnecessary drama.  Muffin is a quiet, calm girl with lots of beautiful white fur and just enough black mixed in to make it look someone started decorating her and then decided "Yep, That'll do" She'll even talk to you a little. Not consistently. She's not hosting a podcast. Just the occasional comment when she feels her opinion needs to be heard.
During the day, while volunteers and visitors are bustling around, Muffin can usually be found in one of her carefully selected lounging locations. She has approximately two approved daytime spots and sees absolutely no reason to expand the portfolio. At night, however? Apparently Muffin clocks in. Once everyone leaves, she likes to wander around and explore her surroundings. What does she do? Where does she go? What important nighttime business is being conducted? We don't know. Muffin works the night shift and HR has been advised not to ask questions. Her absolute favorite piece of furniture is a cat tree with one of those little basket-style beds. Put Muffin in a basket and she immediately curls herself into the tiniest, roundest little ball. Which is slightly disappointing because despite being named Muffin, she is very clearly shaped like a cinnamon bun. False advertising, honestly.
Muffin LOVES head scratches and will happily soak up the attention. She adjusted remarkably quickly to sharing her space with the other cats and seems perfectly comfortable with dogs passing through as well. Muffin isn't looking to run the place, start drama or organize a neighborhood watch. She's just... content. Muffin has moved beyond kitten chaos. She's not interested in launching herself off your curtains at 2 a.m. or discovering whether your houseplants are edible. She would much rather find herself a cozy basket, curl into a cinnamon bun and supervise the household from there. If you are interested in Muffin please fill out a Cat Adoption application.
