FOSTER OR ADOPTION NEEDED We are needing help finding placement for this sweet 8 month old girl. We came into fostering her through the owner directly, not through a shelter. The owner could not care for her anymore, and was relocating at the end of the month and unable to take her with no plans of re-homing. The living conditions were very bad, which is why we removed her immediately. She is very loving and affectionate, has a mild energy level when she’s with humans but gets very playful with our dog. She is getting the hang of commands really easily. She’doing great with house training with minimal accidents. She also has done fabulous while in the kennel with zero accidents. We even had her around my toddler nephew and she did really good. She was born in late January and her previous owners got her in March, and shortly after she was put outside. So, she had been separated from her mother and litter mates roughly around 8 weeks old and had been living outside alone since with barely any supervision. The living conditions of the yard were also not suitable for a dog. There is photo evidence from June of her looking extremely skinny and malnourished. Though she has put on a bit more weight she’s still pretty skinny. We have gotten her caught up on her shots and her spay Is done! We would absolutely keep this sweet girl if we could, but our living situation only allows for one pet. This dog has so much potential and she’s already making strides in the small amount of time we’ve had her. The shelters and rescues are terribly overrun and low on fosters. If we could even find a suitable foster for her for the time being that would be great. If anyone can help in anyway please let us know. She has a heart of gold, but us housing her cannot last an extended amount of time; and we do not want to resort to having to surrender her to the pound. Help this girl get a second chance at a good life like she deserves Posted September 2025 |
