Rocky's LEGacy Fund
THIS FUND WAS CREATED TO HELP ANIMALS WITH URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION WITH HIGH COST VET BILLS
Rocky was a dog that came to us in spring of 2014 who had suffered a broken leg early in his life, resulting in his leg becoming deformed as he grew. He was in a great deal of pain, and the PHSI decided to raise funds to get Rocky the necessary surgery. Volunteers worked hard to raise the near $3000 required, and in October of 2014, Rocky was able to get his surgery at the University of Saskatchewan!
As a result, Rocky's LEGacy fund was created to help animals in need of urgent medical attention. Please consider a donation to Rocky's LEGacy as part of your next charitable donation plan! |
Rocky Update (January 2015)
Rocky has had a name change to become Bruno. We have had his leg x-rayed a couple of times and all is healing well. He is now 70 lbs and we are waiting to find out if he gets the okay to run off-leash!
Thanks again to everyone who took such good care of him. He is a happy, well adjusted puppy.

Parker
Parker was admitted to Dr. Sonia's Uptown Pet Clinic on June 8th 2017. Parker came in unable to walk on his hind legs with radiographs confirming fractures to both tibias. As a result, Parker had to have two surgeries to both of his hind legs. The first surgery involved placements of steel pins and the second involved placements of external fixation systems as the fractures were not healing properly. He is now doing well and is a very happy dog!
