PANTHER
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Male
Color: Black
Birthday: 9-10 Months
Panther is a gentle giant. He is the largest of our black cat family here at the shelter; but that is about where the similarities end for this boys & his name. Panther is a total love bug! He loves human attention & can't get enough. Panther will wrap himself around you as if he is giving a huge hug, while rubbing onto your face or tucking his head by your neck. He is shy to ask when it is someone new in the room or too many people are around at one time he can come across as stand off-ish more than that of a cuddle monster he truly is. Panther has a large loud impressive purr & loves to tell stories with his meows. He gets along with everyone in his cat room & has had no conflict issues since his arrival. Despite having been attacked by a dog prior to coming into the shelter (He still has the wounds to prove it) he holds no grudges & continues to get along with dogs he encounters along the way. Any superstitions of owning a black cat can be laid to rest with Panther, has he has a lighter almost brownish undercoat making him not pure black but actually quit a visually appealing boy. If you are ready to bring this love bug into your life, please fill out a Cat Adoption Application.
