SARGENT
Location: Parkland Humane Society
Sex: Male
Breed: Unknown (Medium Breed Mix)
Color: Light & Dark Brown
Birthday: 1-2 Year Old
Sargent's zest for life has him ready & waiting to bound into your arms & your heart! He adores his four legged best friend, Freddy (also for adoption). Humans though are his top favorite! He loves to be included in activities, even if that means sitting with you watching a show to going on a long run/walk. He is well rounded with his needs of activity. He would do well with a more active owner that is willing to offer proper training & exercise. Sargent shows alot of potential that the shelter life just can't provide him. This guy has picked up the shelter routine quickly, which even includes his daily nabbing of a cat toy! He will alert to cars/people arriving at the shelter which are unknown to him. However, for those he does know a warm welcome awaits. Sargent's size is optimal for a lot of families; being at the smaller end of a medium sized dog. He is kennel, house trained & does well on a leash.
Cats are of no problem, however he is pretty picky choosy on which dogs can be his friend.
With time, training & patience, Sargent would be a great dog for you and/or your family.
If you are interested in Sargent, please fill out a Dog Adoption Application.
